MONT FLEUR – STELLENBOSCH

Hello Ladies

So I attended another academic retreat this week. I am part of the Emerging Researchers Program (ERP) at UCT, and they arranged a 3-day academic writing retreat for us juinor academics where we could spend those days writing/working on our current research projects. This time around we were staying at the beautiful Mont Fleur.

Mont Fleur

Mont Fleur is a family run conference venue which is situated in the Blaauklippen Valley in the outskirts of Stellenbosch. It is nestled in the Stellenbosch & Helderberg Mountain Ranges amidst fynbos and vineyards. Established in 1989, Mont Fleur is a scenic hidden treasure that provides that best escape from the stress of every day life. It specializes in hosting conferences, inclusive of accommodation, and they can host a maximum of 36 delegates.

Those 3 days were definitely well spent and I am greatful to God for these amazing opportunities. It was also really nice to meet academics from other faculries within the university.
